In 1995, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in design at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign. After working for many years in the digital design industry
I wanted to
create things with my hands (not a mouse). One day I saw a pbs program on glassblowing and became obsessed with glass. I taught myself how to create glass beads and marbles
and absolutely
loved it. I would rush home after work to make marbles (yes, I know I'm a geek!). I sent a friend a few glass buttons I
made and she suggested I start selling my glass pieces. I've been creating and selling my work for about 5 years. Hope you enjoy looking at my work!
My studio is in Phoenix, Arizona.
(note: all my glass work is kiln annealed for strength and durability)
